It's a....

BOY! Sorry to any of you who did not want to find out, but Dave and I could not wait. We are so excited. I don't think I have ever seen Dave's face light up as much as when we read the little piece of paper that said "Congratulations it's a boy!". For those of you who may be wondering, we did not find this out in the office during the sonogram. Dave read in one of his dad books that we should make it a special evening for the two of us, so that is what we did. We had the doctor's office write it down and seal it in an envelope. Then we went out to dinner and read the news together. I must give him credit it was a good idea. So anyway... everything is going well and we are slowly but surely thinking about getting things ready for our sons arrival. We have a while, but being the procrastinators that we are I am sure time will sneak up on us quickly. We have to move Dave's office before any work can begin on a nursery. It has been a busy holiday season, but with that coming to an end I am sure we can begin to focus more on Baby Milley. Although I am not really showing yet, I can feel him moving around quite a bit. I know that as time goes on I will feel him more and more (and it may not seem so fun then), but it is pretty amazing right now. It's that little reminder every now and then that he is there. As soon as I am really showing I will post a picture on here. I know it has been a while since my first post, but I will try to update everyone more frequently. I will leave you with the money shot that Dave is so proud of:

Congrats Milley family! A little boy, a mini Dave. That is awesome. You both look and sound very happy. I am so happy for you both. A baby is a tru blessing from GOD. Cherish this time together watching the baby grow inside you. It is so amazing. Preparing for lil Dave's arrival can be stressful but it is very exciting as well. Hey he may be born on 5/5/09. That would be cool. Take care and eat well. Remember what the baby and mom wants, the baby and mom gets! Katrina:)

Dear Julie and Dave,
I can't tell you how excited your mom and I are. It just seems like yesterday you and Amy were my babies. WOW.
After having 2 girls I am now Blessed with 2 GRANDSONS, good going. I promise that your Mom and I will totally spoil your son and only then will we send him home for you to deal with. I really think that being a grandfather is the greatest job in the world and can't wait.
Dave just in case your son is like Julie in her younger years you better rest up now.
Take care of each other
Love Dad & Mom
